A Villa Integrating Art and Function: From Spatial Connection to Emotional Exchange

In fast-paced urban living, a home that balances aesthetic beauty and practical functionality has become a cherished ideal. This villa by HOZI Interior Design perfectly embodies modern refinement and comfort, placing “spatial connection” and “emotional exchange” at the core of its design, transforming the residence into a stage for meaningful interactions.

Design Philosophy: Connecting Emotion and Space

Every detail, from color selection to material choices and lighting execution, reflects HOZI’s emphasis on spatial connection. The design considers not only practical use but also the emotional needs of the residents, allowing each area to evoke a sense of resonance.
Spatial Continuity : From the open social area on the first floor to the private rooms and the natural balcony on the third floor, the home presents a seamless spatial flow that strengthens family communication.

  • Spatial Continuity : From the open social area on the first floor to the private rooms and the natural balcony on the third floor, the home presents a seamless spatial flow that strengthens family communication.
  • Material Harmony : Light wood tones, grey fabrics, and metal accents create a refined and contemporary atmosphere.
  • Lighting Integration : Layered lighting enriches spatial expression and enhances emotional warmth.
  • A Story Driven by Emotion : Every design detail is crafted with an understanding of the residents’ habits, making the home a container for shared emotions.

Vertical Spatial Connection

To highlight continuity and emotional flow, HOZI uses extensive natural wood and concealed lighting in the stairwell. The staircase becomes a sculptural vertical axis, guiding residents through fluid transitions. The interplay between wood surfaces, light-colored walls, and black metal railings creates balance, while layered lighting produces a dramatic play of shadow.

Three Floors with Distinct Functions

First Floor : The open-plan living room, dining area, and kitchen form a dynamic living hub. Light wood and grey tones create warmth and comfort, while the geometric pendant light and grey sofa provide a modern focal point. Materials and lighting work together to create a lively yet harmonious space.
Second Floor : The master bedroom uses soft hues and upholstered walls to establish a calm environment. The secondary bedroom integrates workspace and storage, addressing both practical and lifestyle needs.
Third Floor : The rooftop balcony brings nature closer to daily life. Artificial turf, landscaping, wood fencing, and a small water feature create a private, relaxing oasis.

A Living Space with Story and Meaning

This villa is not only functional but also a vibrant setting for life. Through thoughtful use of materials, lighting, and balanced spatial flow, HOZI transforms the house into a continuation of the residents’ emotional life—a home filled with stories and personal significance.
